wow - your logic is very different to our earth logic...
...about to go to bed and was just doing the round-up of various blogs I read.
came across this link on Neil Gaiman's blog.
the Chinese government have stated that the Dalai Lama has to get permission from Beijing before reincarnating - yep you read that right.
I really want to know how they're going to enforce this one - or how they're going to know if he does..!

birthdays, birthdays, birthdays...
Happy 30th to Mike - 4 days late - although I did try to text him on the day but didn't get the time-zone thing-ey right, so it was about 6 hours early!
Happy 34th to Keith - brother-in-law - actually today!
and - the most important, and incredibly amazing...
HAPPY 5th BIRTHDAY to my nephew Jay for yesterday! Wow - that went really, really quickly!

I'm not rude - my tact filter just works the other way...
... This is just fab! There's not much more that I can say - it's completely true and I want to tell everyone I know (hence the post!). Also - thanks to Paul to bringing to my attention!
Other great quote from Paul this eve: "Your books don't need organising - they need a government"!

TARDIS bookshelves..?
I'm confused.
I'm re-arranging my books and bookshelves. The first thing was to move the shelves into their new places, so I took all the books off them and put them in piles for their new classifications. I'm now putting them back onto the shelves, only there doesn't seem to be enough space.
The only explanation I can come up with is that my bookshelves had some kind of TARDIS facility that has now been switched off...
